Day 1 Sunday DUBROVNIK
Individual arrival at Dubrovnik Airport, transfer to Dubrovnik harbor and embarkation starts at 1 pm. Meet your guide at the evening on-board reception. Rest of the evening free for own activities. Overnight and dinner on board in Dubrovnik.
Day 2 Monday DUBROVNIK – KORCULA
After breakfast join a walking tour of Dubrovnik, the “Pearl of Adriatic” and a World Heritage site. Lunch on board. In the afternoon we set sail for the island of Korčula stopping for swimming at one of the pristine bays after which we will relax and continue sailing towards Korčula, the authentic medieval town claimed to be the birthplace of Marco Polo. We will spend the night in Korcula on board.
Day 3 Tuesday KORČULA – PUČIŠĆA
This morning, a walking tour of Korcula takes you through its medieval town full of history. See the 13th century town walls, walk through its narrow cobbled streets with a layout that resembles a fish bone constructed to reduce the effects of strong winds coming from the sea. Later in the morning we set sails towards the island of Brač known for its beautiful village of Pučišća built of white stone. You can visit the famous stone mason school (optional). Lunch on board. Enjoy a swim in one of Brač’s many sandy beaches and hidden coves and bays and spend the night on this lovely island on board.
Day 4 Wednesday PUČIŠĆA – OMIŠ – SPLIT
We depart for Omiš this morning to the pirate island of ancient vineyard, olive groves canyons and mountain tops. Its fortresses and fortified strongholds are silent reminders of the power and might of the infamous pirates who had established the island as their home. The beauty and the contrast between the landscapes on the island resembles the lush Azores islands belonging to Portugal. You will have a possibility to book a short walking tour, followed by a small boat ride to sail into Cetina River Canyon, a protected nature area, continuing to Radman Mills for a local specialty snack. After visiting Omiš set sail to Split with a stop along the way to swim, cool off and relax. Lunch on board. In the late afternoon we arrive at Split to spend the night. Join a guided city tour strolling around the seafront promenade and Roman Emperor Diocletian’s Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The evening is free for own activities. Overnight on board.
Day 5 Thursday SPLIT – HVAR
Stop in Bol, a small town on Island Brac, for a swim at the Golden Horn. Enjoy the 1740-foot-long golden pebble beach said to be the best in Croatia. It is unique in that it changes shape and position depending on the winds. Return to your boat for lunch, then head to Hvar, the party island of the Adriatic. Hvar is one of the most popular islands in the Adriatic and a meeting point for the international jet set. The “Croatian Madeira” It is also one of the longest islands along the Adriatic Coast covered by pine forests, orchards and lavender fields. It is also an other island on the coast that was founded by the Greeks in ancient times dating back to the 4th century BC. Join the sightseeing tour of Hvar town and see the oldest public theater in Europe built in 1612 and many more historical sites. The evening is free to explore Hvar on your own.
Note: Due to the limited capacity of the Hvar harbor (during peak season in July and August) port of call can be substituted for Stari Grad/Jelsa. In that
case transfer by bus will be organized to and from Hvar.
Day 6 Friday HVAR – MLJET
Departing from Hvar in the morning,and sail to Mljet Island with a stop en-route for swimming. Lunch on board, then arrive at Croatian “Greenest Island” will hypnotize you with its beautiful, untouched nature and its cultural heritage. We arrive in the heart of Mljet National Park of dense forests, birds and two deep saltwater lakes. If you want to visit Mljet National Park, walk to the entrance where you can purchase the ticket to walk around the Great Lake and the Small Lake and join the boat ride to St. Mary Island. Captain’s Dinner onboard. We will spend the night in Mljet on board.
Day 7 Saturday MLJET – DUBROVNIK
In the morning we start sailing back to Dubrovnik. Again we stop for swimming en route and have lunch on board. Arrival at Dubrovnik in the afternoon we arrive in Dubrovnik. Evening free, overnight on board.
Day 8 Sunday DUBROVNIK
After breakfast we disembark and receive a transfer to our hotel. Free time at leisure; Meet your tour guide in the evening. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 9 Monday DUBROVNIK – SPLIT
Morning free at leisure. Afternoon departure for Split, driving along the Adriatic Coast and the Neretva River Delta. Dinner and overnight in Split.
Day 10 Tuesday SPLIT – TROGIR – ZADAR
After breakfast sightseeing tour of Split, covering the Diocletian’s Palace on the UNESCO’s List of World Cultural Heritage, with the Peristyle, the Jupiter’s Temple and the Cathedral. Departure for Trogir, a picturesque medieval town wiht a lovely promenade where we visit the Cathedral of St. Lawrence. Continuation to Zadar, dinner and overnight.
Day 11 Wednesday ZADAR – ZAGREB
Morning sightseeing tour of Zadar, an important sea merchant town with buildings from Roman and Venetian times. We will visit the old town including the Roman Forum and St. Donatus Church, magnificent monument of Romanesque architecture. Afternoon departure for Zagreb, the capital of Croatia. Dinner and overnight in Zagreb, Croatia’s capital on the north.
Day 12 Thursday ZAGREB – Departure
Morning city tour of Zagreb, including the fortified Upper Town, the city’s historical center, St. Mark’s Church with its multicolored roof, the Cathedral, the Croatian National Theatre and the University. Transfer to Zagreb Airport for your departure flight. Extra night can be requested.
