TERMS AND CONDITIONS
General Conditions
Availability: Most hotels, arrangements and packages in our programs are
available on an instant confirmation basis. However, certain hotels and some
programs may be available on request only.
Deposit and Payments
For FIT (Independent) bookings and packages, we require a nonrefundable deposit of US$200.00 or Euro 200 or CA$250.00 per person
at the time of requesting the reservation. For packages that include
tickets to performances the deposit is US$ 500 or Euro 500 or CA$ 600 per
person and for cruise booking of longer than 1 week in duration :US$ 250
or Euro 250 or CA$ 350 . Full payment is due 40 days prior to departure. For cruise
bookings: 60-90 days before departure. If reservation is made within 10 days of
departure, payment must be by certified/cashiers check or credit card only. Documents
will not be released until full payment has been received.
Changes in reservation
Subject to a US$20 or Euro 20 or CA$25 handling fee.
Prices
The rates quoted are based on tariffs and foreign exchange rates effective as of
August 1, 2005, and might be subject to change.
Responsibility of Europetraveltours.net ("ETT")
ETT and/or its agents act only in the capacity as agents for the passenger in
all matters connected with hotel accommodations, sightseeing tours and
transportation, whether by rail, air, bus automobile, ship or any other means,
and as agents hold themselves free of responsibility for any damage or
inconvenience occasioned from any cause whatsoever. ETT and/or its agents will
not be responsible for any damage, expense or inconvenience caused by late
arrivals or departures, change of schedule, strikes or any other conditions, nor
will they be responsible for the loss of or damage to baggage or any of the
passenger's belongings. ETT reserves the right to not accept a
person on a tour who is missing proper documentation, required visas or
passports. ETT has the right
to book other hotels within the same or upgraded category than stated in the
packages.
Cancellation
Cancellation of any package and/or land arrangements more than 40 days prior to
departure are subject to a cancellation fee equaling the applicable deposit
amount, plus any charges imposed by the airlines and rail companies. All tickets to cultural performances
are fully nonrefundable after reservation is made. Cancellation within 40 days
prior to departure or no-show are subject to the full cost of the package. In
case of cruises and customized tours there will be no refund within 60 days
prior to departure.
There is no refund for any unused portion of the tours and packages. We
recommend the purchase of cancellation insurance. Please inquire about rates.
Delivery of Documents
Most documents can be sent to customers as email
attachments, however, in certain cases numbered documents like
airline/rail tickets as well as certain vouchers have to be mailed.
Reservations made within 21 days of departure may require
special courier delivery of documents at the client’s expense. Should the
desired hotel, car or program be "sold out", we will make alternative
suggestions to meet your requirements.
Entry to Destination.
Valid passport is needed to enter your destination country(ies). It is
the traveler's responsibility to check with their closest consulate of
the destination country(ies) whether they require a visa to enter. ETT
is not responsible for any refusal of entry by local authorities to any
of our destination countries due to lack of proper documentation,
security issues or any other reasons.Living customs, life styles,
standards, practices and conditions at the destination with respect to
the provision of utilities, services and accommodation may differ from
those found in your country.
